Is it necessary to change molecular sieve of COMPAIR PSA Oxygen & Nitrogen gas Generators ?

As long as the feed air is of sufficient quality, the COMPAIR PSA Oxygen & Nitrogen gas generators do not need any renewal of the molecular sieve, thanks to best quality molecular sieves used for all our PSA generators.

No, with COMPAIR PSA systems you will produce gas when you need and no need to store cylinders like LOX cylinders where up to 5 % of tank volume gas is evaporated

Can COMPAIR PSA Generators produce gas 24x7x365 ?

COMPAIR Generator will produce the required oxygen/nitrogen 24x7x365 days for years when called for. High reliability through fewer moving parts and high-quality components. You will get controlled flow, right quality and uninterrupted gas.

What is power supply requirements of COMPAIR PSA Oxygen & Nitrogen gas Generators ?

Our generators require about 0.1 kW at 110 or 220 Volts, 50 or 60 Hz, 1 Phase.

Can I use Air Compressors with Integrated Air Dryers ?

Compressors with an integrated air dryer can be used only if the ambient air temperature at the installation site does not exceed 25 °C.

Can I use Oil free Air Compressors ?

First of all oil free compressors are extremely expensive compared to oil lubricated ones and not at all required for COMPAIR PSA systems as long as the feed air quality recommended by us is maintained.

Are COMPAIR oxygen/nitrogen gas generation Systems safe ?

The PSA columns of all our generators are thoroughly calculated and tested for fatigue cracking. COMPAIR Oxygen & Nitrogen gas Generators have low operating pressures, no safety risks of handling of high-pressure gas cylinders.

How COMPAIR PSA Systems are more efficient than its competitors ?

Why COMPAIR uses Coal Tower with its MEDOX Series medical oxygen gas generators when its competitors don’t ?

Medical oxygen is considered as drug and it is sensitive to quality. Keeping this in mind COMPAIR add the coal tower in its systems for hospital use which provide an extra filtration and even removes any odor or any other contamination.

Do COMPAIR PSA Systems need special site preparation for installation ?

Our systems are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. If you place the unit outdoors, rain protection is a must! If you place it inside, you need proper air circulation for compressor cooling and air intake and exhaust for both, compressor and PSA generator. There is no special floor requirement.

Do I require 99% pure oxygen for medical use ?

Medical Oxygen Purity Requirements according to U.S. Pharmacopeia and European Pharmacopeia is 93 ± 3%, according to British Pharmacopeia it is 94 %. COMPAIR’s MEDOX Series PSA oxygen generators meet these requirements for use in medical application. Liquid oxygen (LOX) at 99% oxygen purity may have some advantages for metal cutting, but not necessarily for medical applications. Some local authorities require 99% purity oxygen due to old regulations and ordinances. However, with the acceptance of international specifications from CSA (Canada) and ISO 10083 (European) these older specifications are being revised to 93%. There have been powerful competitive interests that have lobbied local authorities to maintain a 99% medical oxygen purity standard to prevent the introduction of less expensive alternatives like PSA oxygen generators.
